Job Title: Warehouse Manager

Location: Chandler, AZ

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Develop and support the implementation of processes to set up a new warehouse, including inventory management and material inventory strategies, i.e., kanban, and material workflows.
  • Receive all incoming shipments and function as a primary point of contact for deliveries to the warehouse. Process incoming material receipts and collect certificates for material release, as required.
  • Use an elevated level of experience and knowledge to start the warehouse management process in a new building.
  • Work with IT, Quality, and other stakeholders to enforce and conform to an inventory management system/process complaint with ISO requirements.
  • Set up the physical spaces in the warehouse and the appropriate storage solutions for different categories of materials.
  • Develop roles and build a warehouse team to support the requirements of the site.
  • Support the set-up of new material qualification efforts, master data management, and vendor-managed inventory.
  • Partner with key stakeholders to define and document material handoffs between functions.
  • Lead cycle count process.
  • Support generation and data collection for metrics and reports.
  • Manage and escalate material supply risks to internal stakeholders. Collaborate cross-functionally to develop and execute mitigation plans.
  • Engage in crucial conversations by providing and receiving feedback supporting the growth and development of team members.
  • Demonstrate ability to engage and effectively influence team members across multidisciplinary teams while prioritizing multiple projects and meeting deadlines.
  • Drive excellent critical thinking skills across a fast-paced, performance-driven environment.
  • Conduct proper and accurate inventory audits.
  • Promote security of warehouse and surroundings
  • Promote, facilitate, and adhere to 5s organizational activities

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree with 5-8 years of experience in Supply Chain or Materials Management OR a Master’s Degree with 4 years of experience
  • Specialized experience within the high-tech or semiconductor industry, with a preference for expertise in parts management
  • Direct experience and knowledge in warehouse, and/or materials planning/procurement
  • Experience working in an ISO manufacturing facility.
  • Experience in using inventory management, asset management, and environmental monitoring systems.
  • Must be meticulous with exceptional organizational skills.
  • Develops solutions to a variety of complex problems.
  • Work independently and plan schedules and activities to accomplish objectives.
  • Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced, dynamic, and highly fluid company environment and able to adjust workload based on changing priorities.
  • Innate ability to assess talent that will help grow the organization and add to YES culture.
  • Moderate physical effort is required.
  • Must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 5-40 pounds.
  • Frequently required to stand.
  • Regularly required to walk.
  • Repetitive use of hands; simple grasping, controlled grasping, and fine manipulation
  • Forklift Certification a plus.
  • Knowledge of various ERP systems (Arena, NetSuite)
  • Ability to regularly coordinate with additional factory sites to ensure proper inventory management.
